Warrington Wolves secured their play-off spot with a 34-24 victory over Huddersfield Giants at The Halliwell Jones Stadium.
The Wolves dominated the first half, scoring four tries to establish a commanding position at the break. Danny Walker scooted over from close range in the opening exchanges, before James Bentley crossed following a slick offload from James Harrison. Sam Powell then added a third try after Ben Currie sent him over from George Williams' high kick. Williams completed the first-half scoring himself, receiving an inside pass from quick play involving Toby King and Matty Ashton.
Huddersfield responded with two tries from Sam Halsall, but Warrington kept their lead. Arron Lindop scored after Leon Hayes' high kick was offloaded by Albert Hopoate, and Hayes added a penalty goal following a high shot on Lachlan Webster.
The Giants closed the gap in the final quarter with tries from Sam Hewitt and Connor Wrench, but Ashton's crucial try down the left side secured the win. Jacob Gagai added a late consolation for Huddersfield.
The victory keeps Warrington in third spot, now four points ahead of fourth place with three regular season games remaining. Leon Hayes, Lachlan Webster and Sam Powell returned to the side after missing the midweek fixture, while Ewan Irwin, Josh Thewlis and Toff Sipley were unavailable due to injury.
